Wikipedia (as of summer 2013) falsely claims that this song includes a sample of “Christmas Rappin” by Kurtis Blow, but Billboard reports that producer Kay Gee denies that, saying “We played it live and changed it around. I felt if we put the right lyrics on top of that beat, we could bring that same magic back in the ’90s.”
